Instructions for BWCCA 2017 Special Issue on “Cloud of Things Applications”

  • This Special Issue open to all and is built around the 12th International Conference on Broadband Wireless Computing, Communication and Applications (BWCCA 2017) between 8-10 November 2017 in Barcelona, Spain.

    • Management of analytics processing from sensors in Cloud of Things framework

    • Scheduling in Cloud of Things mashup environment.
  • The guest editors of the special issue are
  • Submissions must follow these guidelines:
    • Submit at Manuscript central as the Cloud of Things 2017 special issue.
    • It must have at least 50% difference from any other published paper.
    • Submissions should be be prepared for publication according to the journal submission guidelines
    • The submitted papers must be original and must not be under consideration in any other venue. All submitted papers will be reviewed by at least three reviewers.
  • Important dates:
    • Submission deadline January 15, 2018.
    • First round of review: March 1, 2018.
    • Revised Version: April 1, 2018
    • Second review round: April 20, 2018
    • Acceptance/reject notification: May 15, 2018

Instructions for special issue of the 25th and 26th Euromicro International Conference on Parallel, Distributed, and Network-Based Processing (PDP 2017 and PDP2018).

  • This Special Issue is a call for extended papers of presentations held during the PDP 2018 Conference, March 21-23 2018, Cambridge. A selection of best paper of PDP 2017 Conference at St. Petersburg, Russia will also be considered.
  • It is expected that submissions will address the topic of the conference (see call) and contain at least 50% new content regarding any previously published paper. The submitted papers must be original and must not be under consideration in any other venue. Any questions about the special issue should be addressed to guest editors given later.

Instructions for Special Issue on Recent Advances in Pattern Recognition and Machine Vision

  • This Special Issue is dedicated on Recent Advances in Pattern Recognition and Machine Vision. The key target audience will be the best papers accepted for the Second Mediterranean Conference on Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence, MedPRAI 2018 (Rabat (Morocco), March 27-28, 2018), however other submissions are also welcomed. A strict review procedure will be organized further for selected papers from MedPRAI 2018 to the special issue based on the following standards.
    • Authors may submit extended versions of the conference paper, but they must have at least 50% new content.
    • Quality and originality in theory and methodology of pattern recognition and machine vision must be highlighted.
    • There is a 16 page max length limit (inclusive of figures and tables) and must be prepared for publication according to the journal submission guidelines.
    • Application oriented exhibiting originality with reasonable theory involved.
